RETIRED FRIENDS

From time to time, breeders of show cats need to find very loving homes for their "retired" show cats and cats that have been used in a breeding program.  In most instances, these animals have been lovingly raised underfoot and have led a very pampered life.  I can personally recall two specific show cats that actually went through a physical and mental "withdrawal" if they were not taken to a cat show every few months.  People often marvel at the fact that these cats are so "laid back" and calm when surrounded by throngs of people.  I can't begin to count the number of times that I've heard a remark similar to "My cat would never sit still through all of this commotion that there is here at this cat show.  You have to understand that these cats have been exposed to love, care and constant pampering since they were very young. Even though these cats are no longer being exhibited, they still thrive on the attention and pampering.  Just as you might consider adopting a cat from a Humane Society or animal shelter; consider also the possibility of adopting one of our "RETIRED FRIENDS".  Most breeders I associate with want to know that these very special cats have nothing but the best ahead of them and will continue to receive  the special loving care they REALLY need.  To live out the remainder of their life sitting in someone's lap, being taken on vacation with their adoptive parents instead of boarded in a kennel and being shown off to all who are willing to admire their graceful beauty.  Most of our "RETIRED FRIENDS" are not very old and are usually a lot more socialized then even the most playful of kittens (remember what they are used to and have experienced all of their lives).  So consider if you would, contacting one of the breeders who have listed here nothing but their very best animals.  However, expect to receive a real good "third degree" questioning, after all, these really are our VERY BEST.
